States of the humidity sensor icon

The card picks the state from your entity, so the icon always shows what the humidity sensor is doing.

  • NormalResting state, shown when the device is off or idle.
  • Humid
  • Dry

Which Home Assistant entities fit

  • sensor entities. The card reads the sensor's number and picks the state from the value.
  • sensor entities with device class humidity are detected as this icon automatically.
  • Works with any entity whose state you map: pick this icon in the card and map your entity's own state words to these states with the card's states: option.

How to use it in Home Assistant

  1. Install the Animara card: one link install, HACS as a custom repository, or copy animara-card.js to /config/www.
  2. Edit your dashboard, choose Add card, then Animara.
  3. Pick your entity. Choose Humidity sensor in the Icon list if it is not detected automatically.
